About 3 minutes ago the power went out for 2 seconds here in Southern Cali.
I was freakin typing a school report! All 4 pages are lost!:| . When the power went out, the monitor went out and degaussed. It so freakin loud when it does that!

I've never had that happen with papers, but with graphics work. It sucks to work on a graphic for 2 hours and then lose it because of a lockup or outage.

Get a UPS. Mine lasts for at least 40 minutes after the power goes out. That was with a 17 inch monitor but I don't know what this 21 inch monitor will do to the power supply.
