I got the tire/rim insurance when I bought my car. On the BMW forums, practically everyone said to get it bc these tires and rims are prone to damage.

On the forums, they mentioned that Costco provides hazard insurance on all of their tires so you might want to buy from them next time.

Yes, Costco does sell low profiles, but will only sell you the size that came with the vehicle.
