Trying to find model numbers on Motherboard while system is running and I noticed one hard drive kept spinning down then back up, so of course I started experimenting. If I touched the 80 pin ide cable, okay well actually pushed on it a bit, not just touch.., the drive would power down, then when I would release it, the drive would spin back up......pretty cool eh? sigh....wonder if K-Mart is running those blue light specials on lives again..........

funny thing is that i can't even hear my hdd spinning because of my case fans(including the black label Delta ;))

Get yerself one of these Maxtor drives, you will hear it over the fans, damn thing sounds like someone sticking a pencil in a turbine engine.......

OK d00d, let's compare you and I :)

ratkil - finds motherboard model label while computer is running
Killbat - knows motherboard model and BIOS version by heart

ratkil - tinkers with misbehaving hard drive
Killbat - has perfectly functional hard drives

Wasn't there a fried hard drive up on your wall at one point in some picture you had posted? Something about a power supply you were messing with.......hmmmmmm :D
