my distro is in santa ana, and im in san diego. i dont understand why sometimes it takes a week for them to receive it.

if i send 2 out in one day, and 1 two days later, they appear to be received at the same time the week after.

I think its the whole service throttling thing. Check out the fatwallet thread on the 15 bucks or something deal.

oh yea ive seen that before. thanks though. i was just hoping someone would have another reason cuz i dont want to believe that netflix does that. shady 🙂

I'd imagine that they one or more of the below:
1. Are down tight with the USPS, yo, and have a special arrangement to get their stuff fast from whatever hub.
2. Are very close to a hub
3. Are a hub.

i dont think they'd want to get their stuff fast cuz then they'd have to send out more movies in a short period

how is it possible that i send them out today and they send me an email saying they received it at 8AM the next morning? last time i checked, post office doesnt deliver that early...unless it got delivered on the same day i sent it out, but only after their offices were closed.

I think, when you send it out, they got delivered to the "po.box". Netflix empty the "p.o box" the next day.
