Damn! My shoulder is badly bruised!

From shooting my Mauser Kar98 bolt action rifle chambered for 7.92mm!! That ah heck kicks like a damn mule, but I still put 70 rounds through it. It was awesome to see the 10ft dirt angels kicked up by the rounds impacting behind the target.

Going from my Ruger 10/22 .22LR rifle to that cannon was quite a shock. :Q

Can't wait to head back to the range!!

Two words: butt pad.

I made the mistake of shooting my grandpa's .300 Mag Remington without a pad, once. My shoulder was black and blue for a week.

I live in Texas, yes. Just bought a truck and then went shooting this morning. I love this state.

Xerox: I am going to find some sort of rubber buttpad for that sucker. The military steel buttplate is just brutal with that big of a round. I feel sorry for those poor bastards in WWII that had to fire that thing constantly. Of course, I feel worse for the people on the business end of those rounds!

My shooting partner had to adjust his earplugs when I started firing it because it was so loud.
