I was busted on 1/64 of a gram. They pulled me over when I was parked in my garage and searched my car illegally. I think they planted it since I was sure that I had smoked everything on the drive home from work.
Oh no. You misunderstood me. If you have any illegal substances then I believe its a good thing that he got caught. Not just for all things.
While I have you on your logic for getting caught for playing Dominoes on Sunday or illegally kissing your wife on Sunday. Do you by your logic condone killing someone or perhaps robbing an individual or a bank. What about rape or committing arson? Or do you thing those laws are archaic too? Sure, you went to lower extremes by giving me an example of kissing your wife on Sunday being illegal. So I gave you examples of the other end of the spectrum. Where do you stand? Or you would like to define laws yourself and do whatever you please. If thats the case, then I hope you get caught as well.
But really in short the law does say that possession of pot is illegal. So yes, its awesome that guy got busted.

I consider prosecuting possession of this "substance" for personal consumption a mockery of justice. You may not agree but I think it is on par with busting someone for playing dominoes on sunday....its that extreme in my eyes. Wasting state resources on persuing this "crime" seems more criminal to me than the crime itself. Give the guy a ticket slap on the wrist and send him on his way. This is on par to a speeding/parking ticket and should be treated as such.

DUI/DWI laws are much worse and these people are not killing people everyday. Statistically it's near the rarest of fatalities and injuries.
It makes a lot of MONEY for the county and MADD/SADD though. They are one of the most powerful lobbies and take further contributions to bundle other issues with their own to push through the system.
They are sending even celebs to jail now.

I was told many times that if you get busted in Ann Arbor,MI with dope you get a ticket only, no arrest. I am not going to try it of course, but itmight be real I dunno I just moved here.
