Damn mid-terms

Augh, my lazy ass has a D+ in Engineering Calc I, I need to get As on all three remaining test to get an A in the course, I have a B- in Physics I and if I get anything lower than a B on any test I've got a C in the course, I'm two papers behind in Comp II, some stupid Philosophy class is killing me, and I am one lazy fuck. Plus it's 1:45 AM and I'm dead tired but my eyes are wide open.

If I go to sleep I'm going to sleep in and miss my 8 AM Physics lecture, and fail the test on Wednesday. If I don't go to sleep I'm going to fall asleep during my 8 AM Physics lecture, and fail the test on Wednesday.

Abort, Retry, Ignore?

Sleep is for the weak. Man up to your procrastination and just drink something with caffeine. Repeat as necessary.

<-- Feels worthless for taking a four-hour nap in the evening and is staying up all night to compensate.

You don't have the work ethic...
Damn straight I don't. I know I can't wake up in the morning. By morning I mean before 12 PM. The bulk of my courses are BEFORE 12 PM. My damn fault. Now I'm paying for it, sleeping through class, going to class all sleepy, and being dehydrated as hell because of massive caffeine intake.

Starting to reconsider Chemical Engineering as a Pre-Med Major......... Don't flame, I thought I had it planned out, I guess I didn't.

Sleep now, that's fvcking 5 hrs. I will be at a loss for words if you cannot get your lazy ass out of bed at 7am, 1 friggin hr before class. However, I'm sure other ATOT members would be more than willing to comment on that scenario.

I'm at my parents' for the weekend, gotta leave about 1:30 before class to get there on time, so I'ma sleep now and wake up at 6 AM. Then I got Calc at 10, and then after that my prof wants to meet with me because I got an 86 on the first test and a 56 on the second one. Then comes writing a Comp paper, Philosophy paper, putting my desk together, cleaning my room out, studying for Physics, Chem I, and Calc I.

Can I request a vacation until Friday at 10 AM? 😛

Night ATOT.

Even better! Just have your Mom wake you up in the morning. 😉 HAHAHAHAHAHA!

i have a transport phenomena test in 7 hours and an organic chem midterm in 16. ugh 🙁

at least i owned my polymers and metals hw like a mofo

I have 3 mid-terms this coming week. I feel fairly prepared, but will go through all my notes and re-read my chapters before the tests...Fortunately, nothing I have compares to some of the fucked up math lots of youse are taking...
/me is math stoopid...
BASIC math I can handle...but aljubra...😉
My last algebra class was in 1968...I doubt I've gotten any smarter since then...wiser perhaps, but not smarter...

No midterm exams, I meant damn mid-term grades sending me into a spiraling depression and increased tobacco/caffeine related spending.

I'm so freakin awake right now, I'm going to do the Physics HW I put off and actually get those 5 points this week.

I'm going to go with 'you're never going to make it to medical school' for $500 alex.

Here is the answer:
This historic internet forum member strugged through college early on, yet got through by the skin of his teeth.
Racking up loads of C's and D's, with the occasional B, he went on to obtain an undergraduate degree in engineering.
This degree led to a mind numbingly boring job with mid-level pay and atrocious benefits at a large penile pump manufacturer.
After struggling to pay off incredible student loan debt and living at home, this person eventually ran for president and won.

I usually have a cycle I go through each semester, and it goes something like this:

1. Start off each class great with A's.

2. Tell myself I'm doing so good I'm obviously putting too much time into the class and begin to slack off

3. Over compensate to the point where I need to get my act together if I hope to hit that A for a final grade.

I have just entered step three for this semester.

The correct answer was mrSHEiK124.

A true gentleman and scholar. He singlehandedly ended the second US civil war.

Ya know, that would be pretty awesome.

PHYSICS TIME.

A 1000 kg satellite orbits the Earth at a constant altitude of 100 km. How much energy must be added to the system to move the satellite into a circular orbit with altitude 200 km? Discuss the changes in kinetic energy, potential energy, and total energy.

All I can understand is that for this kind of system is, KE+ = |1/2PE|
