Bowl of Broccoli & Cheddar (not that great but marginally better than the new & improved clam chowder)

I was asking the Quizno's employee about their clam chowder then the asst manager (who probably recognized me from 2 weeks ago when I did a 21 Q&A with them on their clam chowder) stepped in and said ... they're upgrading the next batch, the bacon will be cooked thoroughly before adding it to the chowder to get rid of some of the greasy film and they're going to add some whitener to make the sauce whiter. He gets new shipments in every Thursday and I usually eat there on Friday's.

!!!BRING BACK THE OLD CLAM CHOWDER!!!
 
Oh, but it's so worth it!!!! That place ROCKS. Too bad there isn't one on my way to work. I have to spend my entire lunch hour getting there, making a quick purchase, and getting back.

no kidding, prices of 'fast food' has gone up considerably in the past couple years. A good sandwich (deluxe), fries, and drink at Mcdonalds won't be less than 5 bucks or so. I think Wendy's is a better deal.

Rossman, do you like Schlotzkys? I find their bread is MUCH tastier than Quizno's, and 10 times better than Subway. I like Quiznos, but eat it too much!


ya know guys, for like 6 bucks these days you can get a burger and fries from a real hamburger joint, individually owned? i find that individually owned burger joints are MUCH better (i suspect cuz they end up buying their food from Sam's Club or something, they don't get it custom ordered for them (where cost is bottom line and they get the cheapest cheese, meat, and bread)).

Nope, but I have been wanting to give them a try. I wonder how many there are in the Portland, OR area.
