I'm trying to sell my 1991 Grand Prix. I listed it for $2500 expecting 1800-2000. Some guy calls me back offering $1000. If I was gonna sell it for $1000 I could've done that without printing out a "For Sale" sign.

What's the most rediculous lowball story you have? (list incidences where people that were serious)

A few weeks back, I was selling a new item rather cheaply on this forum. My price was about $13.00 less (shipped) than the lowest price on PriceWatch. However, this individual proceeded to offer me $1.00 less than my asking price. 'Nuff said.

Not that it isn't silly what that guy did - but maybe he only had $1 in his paypal account? I've seen it happen before when I sell stuff - it's kind of annoying, but paypal is kind of annoying like that. :p
