Well,
the spirit of the season brought me the usual - a break up, boredom and urge to consume heavy amounts of alcohol. But I digress...

I really don't know what to do with myself at my parent's house ... there's nothing to do. Nothing. Imagine typical sub-suburbia of any city (detroit in this case) that is completely dead come 10:30 at night. I've watched two movies already and drove 3 different people to the airport just to kill time. This stupid holiday needs to be done already:frown:

 
You need um... friends in your immediate area. Last couple days I've been over at friend's places till 5-6am .. come back home to sleep, wake up at 2-4pm, go back out again.

.. Oh, and I need to do christmas shopping too... such a hassle 😛

Edit: College is definitely more fun though.
 
My parents are coming to stay with me and my wife for the holidays, does that mean they'll be bored an wanna go home? 😕

I too would like Christmas to be over so the damn traffic will go back to normal. Who the hell are all these people coming out of the woodwork? Don't they shop other times of the year?! I don't shop any more frequently at Christmas time, I just buy more stuff.

I too will be drinking heavy amounts of alcohol, but that's just because it's a weekend.

Canton... probably the reason why I'm so bored.
I made back to ann arbor / bar every day of the week so far; I just can't stand sitting around my parent's house. Oh well, it looks like there will be more drinking tonight, so at least I'll have something to do.

Why not spend some quality time with your folks?

In a few years when they are gone, you will kick yourself for all this time you wasted when you could have been enjoying their company.
 
I'm still in Berkeley for that reason! Taking two friends to the airport tonight and then heading home finally. There are friends waiting at home for me too, but I don't think much will happen. I'm bored.
