This will be my 6th RMA of an IBM deskstar. All from different machines and all with cooling. Guess how many I have had in my possession? Eight. That's 75% folks. What a joke. The worst part is, I've been on IBM's site for over 20 minutes trying to find the RMA form for hard drives, and naturally it's harder than hell to find. What a bunch of d!ckheads. I would rather have take 40 grit sandpaper to my nipples than buy another one of their monkey-brained hard drives.

Man, I am sure glad I didn't buy an IBM, I have heard so many people complaining about them, it makes you wonder why they dont do something bout it..

Well IBM is doing a deal with a place in China to start building some 120 GXPs there. Maybe the Chinese will make better drives.

I got an IBM with my old gateway, what a piece of trash, its always clicking really loud and its got errors all over the place. Luckily I gave my sister the old system so I have my trusty WD now :). IBM sux.

I've had 1 of 3 40gig 60GXP's fail and had to RMA it.
It went into a continuous loop and wouldnt come out. DUH.
Even after power down, when turned back on it spin up and never stop.

I've got 5 60GXP's and they're all still going strong (knock wood, throw salt over my shoulder, etc).

Some of the best drives I've ever had are Fujitsu's. Quiet and moderatly fast. Reliable as hell.
