So I added the "Where I've Been" app on facebook, illed out the places I've been too and zoomed out. It looked so sad, just had to remove the app.

Lol.
I need to work on my geography skills.

Without map.googling, you've been to:

Seattle
Somewhere in Wisconsin
Chicago
Toronto'ish
New Foundlandish? Area
Upstate New York
Rhode Island
New Jersey?
Florida
Cuba (I'm forbidden to go there)
Spain
The country north of Greece
The country adjacent to Turkey (Romania or Bulgaria?)

Almost ;)
Ontario and Quebec
Seattle, Chicago, NY, Connecticut, Florida and Minneapolis
Bulgaria, Macedonia, Spain and Cuba.

Some friends of mine that have this app have most of Europe and North America in blue, with various other places here and there. Damn show-offs...

I have only been to less than 10 states, and have never left the country.

To visit relatives, I've been to: Washington and Colorado.
Vacation: Ocean City, New Jersey
Driven in: New York, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts.

When I was very young, I did travel with my grandfather to some museums, but I don't remember which ones, or where they were. I do remember him taking a picture, a time exposure, at the Lincoln Memorial, so I guess I was in Washington DC - so I've been into Maryland by bus already.

That's what, 8 states, plus DC?
I've never been the type to want to explore, at least on Earth. :)

As someone who has traveled extensively, I'd say you are off to a good start. Living in a foreign country gets you double points (though people have different definitions of "living" someplace so that depends), and Cuba is also a big plus if you got your hands dirty there. Also remember that people who have that app tend to have traveled a bit, so it isn't like you're getting an accurate sample.

My great apologies to the great state of Wisconsin.
I do get mixed up with your two states. Michigan, I get right.

Sidenote.

Why is part of your state in Michigan's hand?

=)

I haven't left Canada, and I've only been in 5 provinces.

Also never been on a plane.

Well, I lived in Bulgaria for 11 years so it should count, even if I was born there ;) But I never really got to see any of the "real" Cuba... been there 3 times but only because they have the cheapest travel deals.

Due to chronic and severe money shortages over the years, I haven't ever travelled anywhere long-term, even though I wanted to. Now that I got a nice job and decent money, I no longer have the time to go anywhere. :\

I've never left the southeastern US (if you include Maryland) and have been outside the state of Tennessee for maybe a total of a month of my 22 years of life.

I've meet quite a few people here who haven't been more than 100 miles away from here in their lives...How sad.

I've been to almost every state in the lower 48 and Hawaii. The only foreign countries I've been to were during my "semi-tropical vacation, courtesy of Uncle Sam's Misguided Children tour group in 1970-73. I saw 5 of the countries that made up the "indo-china" region at the time, plus Japan, Okinawa, (it was different then, even though it was still technically Japan) and the Philippines. Can't say I saw too much of some of them...when you get drunk before you get off the plane, and stay drunk (and in a whorehouse) for the entire 96 hours...you just don't see too much of the countryside...:D

This can be attributed to money and time. Some people have neither. I know an international student here at my university that visited about 30 states and vacationed in 12 other countries.
