I had a cyst on my ass. That was the most pain I ever went through. It happened last Winter, right be for finals week here at school. I think it's called a Paralyandical Cyst? This type forms at "the cleft of the buttocks". At first I thought I just bruised my tailbone, but then it got worse and worse. I noticed a bump, about 3 inches long and sticking out of my skin about 1 inch high. I didn't have any surgery, the doctors just cut it open and let it drain. But then, for another week or so, it kept filling up and I had to drain it myself by pushing on it while in the shower. That had to be the worst smelling stuff ever! I was on some crazy medicine for the pain, so all I did for a week and a half was sleep on the couch. It hurt to bad to walk, so I missed the entire week of classes before finals, and that really screwed my grades. I pray to God every night that I don't ever have to go through that again.

I'm gonna go eat some tacos and beer now.

Just make sure you're not going to some loser doctor, like one at school where you get "free" medical.
Why? A LONG time ago this happened to me:

I show up at appointed time, lay face down so he can work on the back of my neck;
The nurse says: "Uh, Doctor, can I bring you a scalpel?"
"No. We used to use sissors to open up people all the time in surgery."
I'm thinking, what?--I guess he knows what he's doing.
After awhile, he seems to be having trouble, and only stops pulling b/c he's pulling me off of the table.
The nurse says "Doctor, do you want me to bring you a scalpel?"
Doctor: "...I don't understand--I should be able to just pull this out...but it's not coming and I don't see why..."
Nurse looks at me and I'm turning white, sweating, and starting to freak. So she says "Doctor--won't you PLEASE let me bring you a SCALPEL!"
"Oh, ALRIGHT then!"

So go to a quality doctor and do w/o a scar.

Word to the wise...I had one of them removed from below my eye when i was a kid. Doctor told me to put suntan lotion on it after the stitches were removed. Do this if you have stitches because if you dont then when it becomes summer the scar tissue around there will tan over and never untan.

<< i was told that since im having surgery on it from a real surgeon and not a normal doctor that there will be little to no scar at all...i dont want a freakin scar its on my forehead >>

Well, thats pure rubbish. I had mine removed by a real surgeon too, and its left a scar. Any surgery that involves making an incision with a blade will result in a scar who ever does it. I didnt really want a scar on my face but I have one, rather have a scar than a lump thats likely to burst!
