LOL! I'm going to catch that ghost one day and then PROFIT.

I met this girl tonight, several years older, which of course is what I'm looking for. Anyway, I talked to her for about 30 minutes, and then her girlfriend was freaking getting thrown out for being so drunk, so I protected her and her friend from scandalous guys, and then got her number(thought it was fake since I was 5 years older), but it was her number. I was going to leave a message seeing if she wanted to get lunch/brunch at this really nice restaurant, but she actually answered and I apologized and was like do you want to catch lunch at X tomorrow and she said: Babe, call me in the morning. I guess she gave me the real number and we really had a connection, but I wasn't expecting her to answer -- I was going to leave a message. I fvcking think she is great -- being older she is someone I could see myself getting serious with and getting married with, because I basically never date anyone that is less than 5 years older than me. I didn't mean for her to answer so goddamn. Sigh.
Yet another parody? Some things you say there clearly hint that this is not a true event, or that you aren't as indecisive as you pretend. You had better call off the joke now before you tick people off for posting something not true and consuming their time It's not like this parody is even creative or funny in any way. :/
You're fortunate that Mill isn't the raging, angry, forum tyrant that he once was.
Good luck Mill!
You were wrong so STFU and stop explaining yourself. No one cares about your posts much like no one cares about your fake modeling career.Originally posted by: DearQT

As if I would care....
I am still of the opinion that this is either a parody, or he is not as uncertain as he claims. Things don't add up, especially coming from someone who was fond of parodies. (Who tells a stranger that much about his future before even establishing a date? A stranger from a club setting too? One isn't exempted from the basic rules of dating just because it's with an older woman--and only five years age difference for crying out loud.) He would post a true girl related/dating event elsewhere before he posted it on AT.

I care so very little if you think it is a parody. It certainly is not -- I'm not even sure what you think I *would* be parodying if this were a parody thread.

All right. I'll take your words, even though I'm not completely convinced. But supposing everything you said is true, then there's nothing to worry about. You should take a chill pill as you would say. Keep in mind where you met this lady. She may or may not be interested, but just calling her and speaking to her directly didn't mess anything up--except the ideal way you wanted it. As I said earlier, just because someone's older--especially just 5 years or below--doesn't change the rules of the game. Six years and older ? probably, but certainly not five years or less. Give a little space like 1 day extra (since she asked you to call the next morning) and call her back. Don't start that "future" discussion BS ... at least not at this early stage . Let it be she who starts it [again], if at all, and in a "normal" environment. Things will go from there. Just my point of view....
Edit: This is one of the things that confused me and made me skeptical: On the one hand you say, "I met this girl tonight, several years older, which of course is what I'm looking for." On the other hand you say, "... and then got her number(thought it was fake since I was 5 years older." So which is true? Girls give numbers to older guys all the time. Are you older or younger than she?And do you date younger or older women? :-/ Btw, if there's any problem here, it is your lack of confidence when you spoke to her directly. Keep us updated.
