Back in high school, I stuggled to stay awake in 99% of my class meetings in chemistry. I didn't find the material boring, but every time 5th period came around, I was just trying to keep my head off my desk or falling out of my chair. I was fine the rest of the day, so it wasn't lack of sleep.

Me too.
5th period chemistry. (6th period too on some days)
Somehow it's the ONLY class I actually have the "need" to fall asleep.
It's sux because it's AP Chemistry too. Got a dam C+ on the midterm (yet the "smater" people actually failed or go lower than me, so I must be doing something right)
