damn i didnt know samsung drives have improves so much

I got a WD scorpio drive on my laptop.. an 80gb one with 8mb and 5400rpm.

I bought my dad a samsung 120gb 8mb 5400rpm drive.

apart from the 40gb difference, damn this drive is faster than my WD.

Our computers are both gateway laptops, identical setups execpt they have differnet model numbers but internally they are teh same, same celeron processsor, same amount of memory and same amount of video card and stuff..

Just if you want to check.. his laptop is a gateway 400sp and mine is an M305CRV

i should have gotten a 120gb.. it costed teh same as my 80gb i think and i bought this off the egg.

I use a samsung drive as my main drive. it is uber quiet! I cannot hear it! and I have good hearing too!! it is completey aesome

yeah it is so freaking quiet, its quieter than the WD.
