Well, the previous owner my car did a crappy job with the stereo. He either used short speaker cables or pulled them too far to the trunk (where all 3 amps are), so I couldn't take the old (broke) headunit out. So I took apart the whole center console and unplugged the cables from there. I got the Pioneer Deh-4600MP from BestBuy for $159.99 - $20 rebate = $139.99 and installed it today. It was a pain in the ass to wire the harness but oh well. Why can't headunit manufacturers all use the same wiring harness?
Anyways, the headunit is a cheap one (but it plays MP3s and has Aux-in for my iPod mini :cool
but I don't care as I am definitely getting a new car in a year and I didn't want to invest much on this one...
Anyways, here is the before picture, when the center console was out: http://pics.bbzzdd.com/users/jayjay/interior_before.JPG
And this is the after picture: http://pics.bbzzdd.com/users/jayjay/interior_after
Tomorrow will be my detailing day as the interior got kinda messy
What do you think?
Nothing fancy but does the job well
2 12" Subs in the trunk sound pretty good, so no complaints
