Damn Guitar hero looks fun

I was in Wal-Mart and two kids were playing it, looked very fun. I hope it comes to the 360 for sure, I have heard rumors that it will with a wireless guitar.

I remember reading somewhere that when(not if, when) it comes to Xbox 360, it'll have to be a USB guitar. So, it probably won't be wireless at all 🙁

But I agree, Guitar Hero rules. I'm getting it for Christmas 🙂

EDIT: Reason it would be USB is because of something about Microsoft not allowing third parties to have the controller technology to the Xbox 360.

Maybe as a party game otherwise I think its kind of like kareoke by yourself.

it's still good with just one person but you don't get the chance because if you have it, then people are always coming over to play 😀

My friend and I were at Wal-Mart trying to get Wiis, and we were playing Guitar Hero. It was a lot more fun than I thought it was going to be. Someone needs to make a PC version.

Guitar Hero is awesome, and Guitar Hero II is even better. FREE BIRD!!!!

Everyone already owns a PS2, so I don't see a reason to release it on the xbox 360. That, and you really don't get any benefit from high-end graphics on a guitar game. I think it would work well with the Wii.

Guitar Hero II will be coming out for the 360. However, there are no words on a wireless guitar yet.

Guitar Hero is an awesome game. A wireless guitar wouldnt necessarily have to use 360 technology. Couldnt a wireless receiver plug into the controller port? The way they do it currently.

I heard feelings were a little more mixed for the music in GH2 than in GH1, so I was a little worried about that, but I ended up getting GH2 anyway. Much cheaper than buying an actual guitar, and probably going to be less frustrating.

Great game....owner of both 1 & 2.....just got them both last week. They will be releasing part 3 late in 2007....around the same time they release for other systems.

I have both 1 and 2 and they are both great games. 2 is easier to nail hammer ons and pull offs, but has much much harder songs. Two player is great too.

GH 1 is awesome. GH 2 is just not as fun to me. I'm not too wild about the song selections. The covers are weak, too.

My goal in life is to get a perfect on Hangar 18 in expert mode 🙂

There are rumors that the 360 version will have wireless controllers, but nothing confirmed.

GH 1 and 2 are brilliantly fun games. They did a wonderful job at trying to recreate the sounds of the original songs. Fortunately, artists are helping even more by donating the original master recordings (Jane's Addiction and Primus on GH 2).

It's worthing buying a PS2 for this game alone (I did). I can't wait for it to come out for the 360 as well. I hope they take advantage of the Live service and maybe put individual songs up for download...say $1 a song or something?

I personally hate the 360, but I heard there is going to be downloadable content for that version. The wireless guitars for PS2 are in stores, and there will be wireless guitars for 360 (friend works for harmonix).

There is a PC version of guitar hero. A few in fact. The best, however, is "Frets on Fire".

You just have to download the songs, and you're good to go. It's not nearly as good as guitar hero because you use the keyboard (F1, F2, F3, F4, + F5 are frets and Return is the strum bar), but it's still lots of fun.

Also, there's no whammy bar, star power, or hammer ons/pull offs.

I got my 9 year old son GH2 with the wireless guitar and it's awesome! I love it!

I'm going to buy GH1 with the wired guitar so we can play together.
