Worst record in the NFL, but they still don't draft until fourth. I ask you, what are the chances that Eli Manning will still be around by the fourth pick?? A new coach, a 5 and 11 season next year, and another rebuilding era. Come back, Simms and Bavaro :( .

There, there my fellow NY Giant fan.
What this Giant team needs is not a QB, we need a new medic. If half the injuries didnt happen, the team would have been half decent. Well until we got the ball to Tiki.

Its quite obvious your not a Giants fan. Simms has the Giant's record for lowest career interception percentage, most passing touchdowns in his career, with 184, and led the Giants to a superbowl (XXI). Please get your facts straight buddy.

menudo, your ignorance regarding football is now well documented. Did you miss his Super Bowl XXI performance? You know, the one where he was named game MVP with stats like this: 22 for 25, 3 TD's, no ints.
Please move on. Adults are talking.

You suck at the obvious. Simms is arrogant and I am glad he is gone. Now if only they would pull him off the air.

Giants have 4th overall pick due to strenth of schedule tie-breaker. Giants had 3rd hardest schedule after Bills and Texans, and therefore they're picking last among all 4-12 teams. Either way, unless they trade down expect Giants to end up with a quality player. My guess is, it'll be one of the four: Eli Manning, Ben Rothensomething, Robert Gallery or Fitzerald. It all depends on what teams in front of us are going to do.

Chargers most likely won't draft a quarterback, but they could trade down with somebody who will. I'm almost certain Arizona will draft Eli Manning, and my guess is Oakland will draft Fitzerald since their receiver core is pretty old and there's a chance Brown or Rice will retire. This leaves the Giants with either Ben or Gallery, all depending on whether Chargers trade down or not.

Well, that's point of view. I could be wrong of course.

Shockey is the most overrated, overhyped piece of crap to ever play the game. I hope for Xmas he asked for the Giants redzone playbook. Maybe that will help him get into the endzone more than twice in a season.

Shockey is a piece of crap. Trade him away, and draft Kellen Winslow Jr. His attitude may be the same, but at least he plays. Shockey just drops passes and calls people homos.

I see Coughlin making this team better, but I don't see the playoffs for them for at least a year or two.

How will they win 10 games when Dallas, Eagles, and Skins will use them as the whipping boy of the NFC East again? I don't think 6 losses in your division will get you into the playoffs... weg

Hmm...too lazy to look up his name but who is that Gallery guy? It's not ringing a bell. I'm thinking QB's are going to be a pretty hot commodity this year. I think the Chargers would have to look at a QB. Brees clearly isn't cutting it and I'm sure they are still regretting on trading the rights to select Vick to the Falcons even though the player they got, LT, has been awesome. Now they get a second chance with Manning and Roethsomething from Miami Ohio both looking like potential studs. Arizona is probably also looking at a QB and even Oakland could go with a QB or WR since both positions are ancient although if Gannon comes back healthy, he should have another year or two in his arm. Should be interesting.

I'd love to see the Giants get Fitzgerald but that's probably unlikely. Toomer and Hilliard just don't do it for me at the WR position.

Being a chargers fan i would think they will draft Manning. They cant pass on him. They didnt get Vick, they got Leaf, and now they have Brees. Brees isnt a total bust but he isnt the future yet. Rothelsberger will most likely end up in arizona. Oakland will probably go with Roy Williams. They may trade with NYG cuz they can still get Williams @ 4 and pay him #4 money as opposed to #2 money.

Gallery is an offensive tackle, something Giants need badly. He's supposed to be the best offensive tackle in this draft.

The fact that arizona will select a QB is almost a certainty. As for Oakland and San Diego, I'd say 50/50. As far draft Fitzerald goes - I'd love to see that happen. Just imagine the combination... Fitzerald is being compared to Moss, however unlike Moss he'll have another deep thread in Toomer. Shockey already demands double-teams and Hilliard is a decent possession receiver. As the result Fitzerald will almost never get double teamed. In fact, that would become the most dangerous receiver corp in the league.
