Damn flight delays...

The woman and I are flying home (my parents house in Houston area) to surprise my dad/grandfather for father's day/my dad's 50th b-day. Got to the airport in Wichita 50 minutes before take off only to find out the flight has already been delayed 1 hour and 37 minutes.

This ruins all of our plans for tonight. I'll really be pissed if the flight is cancelled.

Thats a pity. Hope you get on that plane, spare the ground staff though. It isn't their fault

My biggest concern is that most airlines never hesitate to cancel flights out of Wichita. I'm sure within the next hour or so we'll get the Flight Has Been Cancelled message.

I absolutely HATE that airport. HATE!

That said, I have had many delectible meals at the Scotch & Sirloin in Wichita.

I was trying to get to Houston from NY's JFK and was delayed for 3.5 hours on Sunday. Didn't get home till 3 am and had to start a new job at 8 am. So yeah, airport delays are just plain awful.

That said, I have had many delectible meals at Scotch & Sirloin.

Never been there, but have been meaning to go. Usually the woman and I are too tired to make the trip to Wichita on Saturday nights since we both work all day on Saturdays (her 8-10 hours, me 12-16 hours).
