damn findfast.exe!

i have no idea what this stupid processor function does. im running XP pro, and it seems to be giving me trouble. i was experiencing lagging in a game (diablo 2), and i logged off the game, checked task manager, and sure enough findfast (2 instances of it, no less) was taking up 60-80 % of processor cycles. i have no idea what this process does. any help?

Kill it. It's part of MS Office used to search and index office documents.
