Just a small rant,

I sent them my 256chip on March 09,

I got a confirmation that they received it on the 13th, does it take this long for them to ship it back?

They normally ship 2nd day air right?

Anyhow...

They offer pay for cross shipping which I did.

It did take almost a month start to finish but I got my RAM and my credit just fine.
 
I had an ECC module go bad on one bit... They offered to cross-ship and I had the replacement module in 3 days. This was about a year ago.
 
Well i would have like them to send me the ram first, but i did not have the credit card in which i used to purchase it ( a friend of the family) so they said because of security reasons!

😀

Go figure...

Hopefully it gets here soon, 256 is killlllllllllllllin me ...

My mate sent back a video card to crucial that he didnt want, and they took for ever to refund him let alone contact him to let him know they had recieved the video card.

*sigh*

Shame really I used to hear good things about the company.

I have heard nothing but good things about crucial either,

This is just getting too damn long.. they normally ship 2nd day and even if they didnt it doesnt take 10 days to ship it...
 
I only ordered once, but I got my memory in 3 days via international shipping!! 😱
It shipped in less than 24 hours
 
if u are RMAing the ram they will not send you a new one until they are done testing it to see if it is bad. I have RMAed with them once and that was how it was. I called and asked how long they said about 3 days after they recieve it. they will send a new module.
 
Well they just told me about 7-10 days from when they receive...

7 BUSINESS days is today... Hopefully its here soon..

Crucial has been very, very good to me. I've never had to RMA anything, but their service and support has been excellent.

I had to RMA a chip once. They were VERY quick to send me a replacement. Seems like it was less than a week. I would contact them ASAP and see what the hold up is?
 
Stories floating around the Internet seem to indicate that Crucial (Micron) is in trouble financially (lost a couple hundred million $ last year). They might have cut back on tech support people recently and therefor might be getting worse service than most people with prior experiences. Just keep bugging them, they'll eventually sort it out.

i had a bad stick sent mine in and they cross shipped another 2nd day, using CC to to hold the funds
 
Yet another day without a package.

This is starting to piss me off, after tomorrow they are getting a bitching again.
