was loading up that page, and on the bottom it said hacked.. and it loaed up(well, still loading up) quake2 logo..

daaamn... i guess who ever did it should get ready for those l337 hax0rs hacking him back.

 
chmod is just permissions on files. 777 allows public write and read.

Don't know about your account.. we'll find out soon enough 🙂 Hopefully they switch forum programs.

You do know CD's been hacked a couple of times already right?? On the main CD page, it says that it stops up to OGC 7.4 but there are versions up to 7.42.. I don't know if that means it works or not though. Why can't those damn cheat programmers program something useful and quit ruining it for everyone else

Yes, I've been running C-D on my server pretty much since the day it went public. C-D wasn't hacked but the auth was, however. And by 7.4 it does cover up to 7.42. 🙂 No public OGC releases work with C-D, period.

Yeah I meant the authentication part.. but still.. they got passed that. I try to find CD servers but there aren't that many.. every server should use it. CSguard was good at the beginning... but it's been so easy for the OGC programmers to get passed it.
 
hah...CSOTF sucks now, it doesn't pain me as much 😛 I've seen spam and ISE and all kinds of crap, but this time i missed the hacking 🙁

Well, you do know that the OGC team has stopped making cheats for 1.3, right? 🙂

Half-Life was developed by Valve. Counter-Strike was not. I imagine the "CS2" you mean will be operating on the Team Fortress 2 engine, if it is ever released before our eventual demises.

Personally I could care less. Counter-Strike was a great mod until they went retail...then came the irritating cheating programs, then the just-as-annoying anti-cheat programs, which usually didn't work.

Cheating-Death is no different..it works for now, but eventually some cheat developer will break it, and we'll have another useless PunkBuster. Good to hope, though. A few months ago people thought PB was unbeatable, lol🙂
