I've found it effective if you swerve and try to get the helicopter's attention and time it just right so the pilot is looking down right when you get the tunnel. The helicopter USUALLY crashes into the tunnel, but not all the time in my experience.

Right, that usually happens, but sometimes it doesn't. You might even be entering a low profile tunnel like the baltimore harbour ones, so i figured that i'd throw in that extra piece for back-up

UPDATE:

So I have started riding / driving slowly (earlier I would go max of 10 over speed limit - now max 5 over speed limit). Anyway I went for my usual afternoon ride up glenoaks and the place was cramming up with cops.

Looks like they are targetting bikes now too. I saw two cop cars and a bike cop along with some guys who's bikes have been impounded. Apart from that I saw 3 other bike cops around either waiting to pull people over or have pulled people over already.

After seeing this I am going to lay low for a while and keep it slow..

Man the state police here suck big time. Here is what happened to me. I was going for a ride, NOT speeding, when I got pulled over by a statie. I knew I was legal, so I figured he would hastle me a bit (these guys have a reputation for not liking bikes). He hands me a ticket for doing 80 in a 55 zone. WTF? Ok, so I went to fight this. Turns out there were about 50 firemen fighting tickets that day. They were in a benefit ride for the family of a firefighter killed in the line of duty. Hundreds of tickets were handed out for illegal helments. Problem was almost all were DOT approved, which in this state is all that is required. The cops NEVER looked in the helments for the certification, even when asked. So, I am in court with these guys, and I figure the cops look pretty bad. I had a chance to examine the cop and he didn't clock me, get me on radar, or anything else. I "looked like" I was going that fast. So know what? The judge said, "well he said it and I belive him" So, me and ALL the other guys there (at least while I was there got screwed. Nice.

you should've been in Utah during the Olympics, there were cops EVERYWHERE!!!! They brought in cops from surrounding areas and deputized them for the Olympics...it was crazy, you could go anywhere without cops hiding behind every corner...

I didnt say anything about not linking girls on the plus sizes. It was just that girl who sort of wanted to have sex with me even though she never has met me.

Anyway as for me on who I like.. I really dont know. I have been shot down so many times I really dont know. How many guys do you know who keeps track of the number of times you get shot down. I had 103 No's in 1999 before i had an Yes.

With that kinda track record.. I really dont know.

BTW, the reason why they are "hunting" in packs is because if only one cop pulls you over and gives you a ticket, you can fight it in court. However, if the cop fails to show up in court, then the ticket is not valid. What people have been doing in the past was they would schedule a court date, and kept pushing it back until that cops had the day off which would then cause the ticket to be invalid. So with 2 cops, the chances of those 2 cops that pulled you over taking the same day off is a lot less likely. Therefore, you couldnt skip out on the ticket like before. For the record, I've never gotten pulled over. Knock on wood.
