First off, most PC game sales are done through digital distribution. Using "shop real estate" to draw any conclusions is just misleading.

PC game sales revenue has surpassed that of console games, and are projected to only widen the gap.

And, those "sodding wargames" are just as big and prevalent on consoles. And while sports games certainly are a weakness on the PC, that's no more fair than criticizing consoles for their weak strategy and indie game selection. It's just a matter of where your tastes lie.

i was talking about those games on the xbox as well, thats why they have certificate ratings so kids cant play them, they dont let kids go to the pictures and watch an 18 rating films now do they? and i was not suggesting they should not make a gta for pc because they should, along with a load of other games thy should be making

Release on PC, make some money, game will be pirated though.

Don't release on PC, no PC version pirating, but no money made on PC at all.

Make it easy to purchase, download and play games and there will be less pirating, especially when there may be workarounds, or extra software or even malware to get pirate copies to work. Even better is when the games get put on sale.

claiming one or the other is better (or worse) at being complete whiny bitches is a laugh.. both are.. to many in this thread have it right, its embarrassing to be a gamer PC or console right now, death threats, the complete lack of knowing its just for fun.

The funny thing about the Petition, is its about Pirates.. which you can do on pretty much anything , consoles also. But a petition about hate, be it console or PC is just sad, gamers need to grow up a bit, or quite posting petitions before they are legal age to vote. Anybody that inst childish would not make or post anything like that, regardless of what they play games on.

Consoles are pathetic for gaming. I do have a PS3, but all it's ever done is function as a blu-ray player, which it's done pretty well.
