Damn Comcast....

WAHAHHAHTHTTTT???!!!! WTF !!! THOSE SOBS!

SCI FI, Cartoon Network, and Comedy Central are like the only channels I watch....and now to pay more just for that one channel.. @*#@(*#@

Stargate SG-1 is one of the few good shows on TV. Too bad Comcast is a big business and doesn't care about one customer (e.g. "That's one of the only channels I watch, and I'm not paying $xx more per month to see it... so either give it back or I'm going to Dish.") 🙁

*cough* suprnova *cough*

Cable companies suck. Time Warner is doing another rate increase here thats about 5%. Looks like a dish is becoming a better deal.

Go to suprnova, and notice that none of the stargate sources have known mirrors 😉.

is there anyway to turn off the TV Guide cr@p when changing the channels? If I wanted to see a TV Guide logo every day, I would get a subscription....

Don't mind as much when using the guide, but every time you change the channel??? speaking of the guide, is there anyway to have it start at the channel you are on (instead of always starting at Channel 2)? I guess I just got used to the way Direct TV guide works...

Comcast just raised the premium cable channels "a la carte'" 36%! That freakin' outrageous!

They do that so you have to buy a pakcage deal to save money. They suck.

SciFi is probably the most watched channel in our house (that's not saying much, though), but I won't be buying digital cable just to keep watching it. It only means less TV watching for me.

The only surprising thing about this move is that they didn't add "In order to better serve you, our valued customer...."

I wish I could get a dish, not allowed in my apartment though.

IIRC, they can't prevent you from getting one so long as it is installed within your unit's perimeter (i.e. the balcony/patio) and not in a public walkway or on the apartment's roof or attached to the fence on your patio)...there might be some more info on this on Direct TV's site...

I the last two apartments I have been in (in Dallas, TX), alot of the tenants had their own dishes....

Definitely worth looking into again if you really want it...
