Damn Chair is stuck to high up....................grrrrrr (Edit: It's broken agian)

Fixed my chair but it's stuck really high up and won't lower down like it's suppose to. I normally sit on it and lift the lever and it lowers...anybody else with an office chair that knows how the internal up-down deal works.

Try lifting the handle and then sitting on it. If that doesn't work find someone with really huge weight problem and let them sit on it.

What he said. You might have to really jump on it if you're a lightweight like me.

My chair is also broken in this respect. Mine is just a pneumatic piston with a little knob that when the handle is pushed down the knob is depressed allowing the chair to go up or down. My handle came out so I just stuck a butter knife in there and it worked as a temporary solution. Now I just don't go up or down.
