My wife minored in journalism. The text books she used claimed that journalists are 'adovacates for the people'. Their influence is enormous, and they wield it to shape the way people think. 'They' meaing the media program directors, writers, and correspondents. They shape us as a people.

Can't expect too much from the fundamentalist right these days. Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, they're all very similar these days.

Isn't what CBN broadcasts protected by the Bill of Rights? If you don't like what they say, don't listen, or better yet, start your own broadcast station to counter them.

Even the dissemination of propoganda is protected. An intelligent person wouldn't try to silence these people, he would listen and learn their agenda in order to better protect himself or his beliefs.

Better the enemy you know, than the one you don't.

No. Only the liberal viewpoint is.

<< I eagerly awaited the "racist" propaganda from CBN. >>

Me too. Strange, still no examples.

Damn, Russ. For a second there you scared the cr@p outta me. Then I reread your post and you're right.

Lately it has become quite "in" for liberals to shout down conservative speakers, but don't you dare tread on their right to voice their opinions or attempt to indoctrinate our young with all the BS they have forced into our educatonal system.
