I'm over helping my parents get ready to move out. They have a moving out inspection on Tuesday.

So here is my dilemma.

They have 3 cats who love to claw door frames. The wood is not destroyed destroyed, but its obvious its been gouged scratched. Whats a quick way to fix this enough to pass an inspection so they don't get charged to replace an entire panel per door frame.

Thanks :)

yea, do the putty. or drywall whatever you callit. fill it all in and let it harden, sand it a bit and refill to smooth it. paint over it. like new

or you could stop asking all of us like we are bob freakin vila and go to home depot and ask an associate. they also have this really nice book for 20 bucks that basically details every single home project/task you ever might need to do. invest. its good. i own one.

He doesn't need a book to do that job. Sand, fill (Putty), sand, putty more if necessary, sand smooth, then paint.
