Damn AC went out in my house. It's over 100 degrees outside and it's now pushing 92 degrees in the house.

This sucks. :|

Could be something simple.

Does the compressor crank up? Fan run?

What died specifically?

Turns out it was a combination of a few things. Compressor was over-charged, fan wouldn't power up from the furnace (had to change contacts), and the fins on the external unit needed to be combed. Seems to be running fine now.

only 2 hours of heat!? 😛
It started last night about 4 causing me to sleep like crap, probably the reason I went to work at 3:30 this morning. I was gone at work for most of the day, but the dog was stuck in the heat all day.
