Left for work this morning. Monitor fine.
Come home tonight. Monitor has power, but just one big black screen. Old monitor works, so it's not the computer. Called Samsung and apparently warranty is gone but they're happy to take a look for $150, which is what a new monitor is going to cost anyway.
Why the fuck does a monitor just decide it's time to die? And why does this monitor, which is about 4 years older than that one, refuse to die?
I guess the point of this email is Viewsonic > Samsung > Jeeebus.
