I have a 9500 128 MB NP, When I first bought it I soft modded it successfully, no, artifacts. I benched it w/ 3dmark and got around 13000. I upped the FSB on my mobo to 155 from 141 and now its benching at 8200. Does anyone know what the problem is? I have the 9500 set to 337/620. Fill rates are still as high as they are supposed to be. Framerates are just really, really low. Please help. Thanks. Win95 torture tests still go for hours without errors.

nevermind fixed it, the PCI/AGP 1/6 divider wasnt kicking in and causing major disruptions to the AGP bus as well as to the cosmic spectrum

Hey, you have a link that explains how to over clock the 9500? Perhaps maybe you could explain to me how you did it?

Thanks.

flash it with a warp11 bios. Then use an overclocking program like rage3dtweak or radeonator. I tried oc the memory but it gets all funky. So I left it at default. Funny thing is it has 3ns memory so it should be good up to 333Mhz. I was going up to 325 only.

Why flash the BIOS? Or is this required on the later 9500 NP's with new PCB's, but not on the original ones with the 9700 PCB?

I overclock mine with RivaTuner, which I got at www.guru3d.com. But I did run the soft9700 mod, if that has anything to do with the ability to change the core/memory settings. I can't get my memory speed higher than 300. But I can get my core speed up to 350+.

Because otherwise you can't overclock. It'll just go back to default the normal bios has the clock locked.
