Who would have ever thought it possible??? I am amazed at the way this team has turned around in the last few years.

I was really looking forward to watching them play the Lakers tomorrow night, and now I find out that it isn't going to be broadcast in my area. CRAP!!! What may be the best game of the season, and I don't get to watch. Oh, well. I guess I'll "watch" on the internet.

Edit: 11-0!!

I have caught myself thinking that I could drive to Dallas... it's only about 150 miles. Scalpers can't be charging that much. I have friends in Dallas. I could drop in to watch the game, and eat all of their snacks.

Not putting this game on Fox Sports Southwest is just cruel. I need to see this game.

and they don't even have lafrenz playing... they are a suprisingly good team. They're my #3 pick for the title if the lakers continue to struggle and the nets falter. Just please not the queens or the blazers.

Marc Cuban is just the sh!t..... Its amazing how much hes put into the mavs. He does such cool things as pay for people to come wash his players cars while theyre at practice. And thats just one of many.

dude, LaFrenz is so underrated. i'd picked him over Yao Ming anytime anywhere anyday.
and Lakers sucks, omg, you don't realize it until Shaq is gone...
the inconsistent Kings vs Dallas would be a way better matchup.

Speaking of Shaq, there is talk that his toe will never be the same again. If he comes back for this game, it will certainly make things interesting, but he will be rusty.

Not only is LaFrentz out, but so is VanExel. They are playing great ball without the best team on the floor. The way Bradley is coming along is amazing. Some of the blocks he made Saturday night against the Nets were unbelievable. On top of all this, he was playing with food poisoning! He should have been in the locker room puking up his toenails.

When someone has an off night (it happens), there is someone else there to pick up the slack. I know the season just started, and there is a long way to go, but if they keep this up, it's going to be a great season for Mavs fans.

LaFrentz is not underrated in the least bit. He's great defensively, but he's too timid on offense. I know this all too well. We picked LaFrentz over Paul Pierce and Vince Carter(not a big loss:)).

And the Mavs are a BETTER team dfensively with Shawn Bradley. They know they can't play defense, so they play zone and plop Bradley in the middle. The guy doesn't even have to jump, and he's a huge defensive clog. It's awesome:)

Mavs all the way this year. The way they dismantled the hot Boston Celtics is just a testament as to how good this Mavs team is. They really only have to worry about a inside outside threat like Antoine Walker.

Oh...and that guy named Shaq.

I picked lafrenz this year over a bunch of players. He's not doing me much good on the IL. I also have dirk on that team, and I figured if one goes down, the other would benefit.

Let the wagon jumping begin!
I'm from Dallas, but never been much of a Mavericks fan. Still glad to see them finally turning it around with
a international cast.

Yeah, they're a fun team to watch. (I'm a Bulls fan... definitely not a bandwagon-jumper!)

I had hoped they (the Mavs) would do better in the playoffs last year. I thought they had a good chance to come out of the west, but they ended up getting spanked. Maybe this year will be a different story...

I'm not officially on their bandwagon... but i'm not too confident about the lakers winning it all this year. Even if shaq makes it back, they haven't gotten better in 3 different offseasons. Samaki Walker is **officially** a piece of crap. The other Samake is even worse. They get new guards every year who couldn't make triangle if you gave them three sticks to play with. Devan George is doing nothing. Fisher has had 2 double digit games all year. Fox is an idiot (nice time to get in a fight, dummy). Horry is pure 4th qtr clutch, not someone you want to rely on for big points/minutes... he's too old for that.

Shaw and Kobe are the only think they have going, and Shaw can't carry that sort of weight for long. They have no real power forward for defense or boards, no backup center whatsoever, and I have seen no evidence at all of the "magic" they had the past three seasons... when you just knew they weren't going to lose.

If for some reason the Lakers get eliminated, I'll be rooting for whoever plays the Kings.

The Mavericks are fun to watch now :D Regarding the Lakers - I'd rather Shaq be playing than not, because then Lakers fan will just blame the loss on not having Shaq as opposed to the Mavericks actually being good. (If the Mavs do in fact beat them, which based off the Lakers record now, seems pretty likely) What's great about the Mavericks is that they all have players who step up when needed - There's always at least one or two of their players (Nash, Nowitzki, Finley) with 20+/10+ pts/rebounds, if not all 3. It's nice to know that the team won't suffer just b/c one of them has a bad game - everyone else steps up and shows why there's no I in the word TEAM. I'm not sure how much longer their unbeaten streak will go but things are definetly looking good this year.

KC5AV - they were also 10-0 last season too. Their lack of defense was exploited in the playoffs when they couldn't outscore the Kings.

You can still buy tickets to tomorrows game. The tickets havent sold as well as they would have if the Lakers were going to have Shaq, and were better than they are now.

Popeye Jones is also injured, thats why they signed another player yesterday.

I know that losses are going to come eventually. I just don't want the first one to be to LA. Besides, a loss here and there will keep them from getting too confident. It's going to be a great game either way.

props to dallas, funny a team led by so many white guys could be 10-0. i mean bradley lafrentz nowitzki and nash? it's too bad wang decided to play elsewhere and try to get more minutes, and now he doesn't even get off the bench in LA.

Im rooting for the Sonics, they have suprised everybody this year. Granted shaq is injured, but to lead the pacific divsion is no easy task.

We have the best backcourts in the NBA. Gary Payton and Brent Barry, Barry is such an underated player, just look at his stats in virtual gm. Did I mention we also have Rashard Lewis, and Desmond Masson, 2 future all stars in the making. Now if we can get a legit big man, then we definetly have a shot at the championship with the teamwork that is playing.

WEll, the game is underway. Looks like the Mavs are up by 12 now. It's been pretty close at times. I can't believe I'm sitting here 'watching' the play by play on the internet. Oh, well... it's better than nothing.

Now if an owner worth a $hit would just wrestle the Cowboys out of Jerry Jones' hands, we'd have a hell of a decade...

11-0

Heh, no Chulpas for the people at AAC tonight...

they were also 10-0 last season too. Their lack of defense was exploited in the playoffs when they couldn't outscore the Kings.

They didnt start off 10-0, the had a 10-0 run in December, one shy of thier all time consecutive win streak, 11, which they tied tonight. Its the first time a team went 10-0 or more since the Bulls did it last.
