I'd hardly blame not making the playoffs on Drew Bledsoe. Bledsoe didn't get burned by Sanata Moss twice in three minutes. Bledsoe didn't miss multiple 35 yard field goals that would have won games. The only game you can blame on him is the Seahawks game. Dallas' problems revolved around two positions: tackle and linebacker. Jacob Rogers goes down early...in comes Pettiti at RT. Pro bowler Flozell Adams goes down early...bring in Torrin Tucker. Now you've got extreme lack of talent on BOTH edges...its hard for any QB to do well in that situation, or RB for that matter. Linebacker, you've got defensive captain & very underrated Dat Nguyen going down halfway through. Then you've got solid starter Al Singleton a week later. Sign Barrow to fill some of those spots...nope, he's out in his first game. 2nd round pick Burnett can start getting more plays, right? Nope...he's out too. As Eagles fans know, injuries can kill a team, especially if its injuries to a position at which you weren't particilarly deep to begin with.
