Dallas Cowboys

To start things off, most experts agree Dallas had the best, if not one of the best drafts this year. Having three picks in the first 46 doesn't hurt.

On top of that, they signed Anthony Henry and Aaron Glenn at CB, Marco Rivera at guard, Jason Fergusen at DT, Drew Bledsoe at QB(not great but better than Testaverde), Anthony Thomas at RB(JJ is still the starter, with Thomas and 4th round pick Barber as backups, not a bad backfield). To top it off, injuries to key players last year(Campbell, Glenn, Hunter) are healed.

They still could use a dominant threat at WR, RT is still undecided, and FS is up in the air(but with Newman, Henry, and Williams at the other three DB spots, still a solid crew).

I'm not saying they're winning the conferance or anything, but they definitely won't be the pushover they've been.

I too and very happy with the Draft, I have been a Cowboy fan my whole life and to top it off I now live in Texas only 2 and a half hours form the Field. I hope to see 2 or 3 games this year.

I'm glad they got some of their holes patched up. Our D is going to be a bit suspect - yes, we're better in the corners w/ out free agent acquisitions. But we drafted to build up a 3-4, with untested rookies having to make up the bulk of that. Our receivers (like already mentioned) are still crap. Keyshawn is overrated, maybe that was Vinnie's fault last year. We still have no fvcking quarterback. Drew Bledsoe? Washed up. Douche Henson? Go back to baseball. We're still going to grind our wheels in the mud this year like we did last year.

As much as I liked Bill coming in as head coach, his hard headed ways will not benefit or make this team better in the spots we truly need improvement in. I don't particularly care for the "Former Bill Parcels Player's Reunion" Tour the Dallas Cowboys has become. Ridiculous. Once his contract is up, I see JJ making a change. (And w/ the rumors flying that Bill wasn't going to come back this season, it seems safe to say Bill won't be back after next season)

I don't know, they aren't "crap" receivers. Keyshawn and Glenn aren't BAD they just aren't dominant #1 guys.

I think the D is gonna be nasty. Ok, so lets say that all of Ware, Spears, and Canty wash up. That still leave you with Ellis, Glover, and Fergusen, throw any of those other guys on the end and you've got a pretty nice 4-3. Not to mention the secondary should kick ass this year.

Bledsoe isn't great, but he's still an upgrade. Why knock Henson? If he'd continued playing football in college and graduated this year, he probably would have been a #1 pick. Give him time to develop.

The receiving options on the team are pretty good once you add Jason Witten. Glenn streches the field, Key takes the underneath routes, Witten takes the middle of the field. Then you've also got Jones/Barber as decent receiving options out of the backfield.
