So I'm sure all of us Dallas/Philly fans have been waiting for this date. As ATOT's resident NFL analyst, here is my in-depth analysis of the game.
When dallas has the ball:
The Dallas offense has a large number of weapons. With Lito Sheppard slowed by injury, look for Terry Glenn to have a field day. T.O. will be fired up and will make some catches, but you know the Eagles will roll plenty of coverage his way in attempt to ruin his homecoming. This leaves Glenn, an extremely dangerous receiver himself, with plenty of space. Plus, the Eagles linebackers aren't exactly known for their coverage ability, which opens up the middle of the field for TEs Jason Witten and Anthony Fasano. Trotter is a great run-stuffer, but with all the attention paid to the passing game, Julius Jones and Marion Barber should find a decent amount of running room. The only chance the Eagles have to stop them is for the front four to generate pressure on Bledsoe, and that offensive line has only allowed 3 sacks in 3 games.
When philly has the ball:
The Eagles offense is riddled with injury, and Dallas has an aggressive defense. Terrance Newman and Anthony Henry can more than handle Reggie Brown and Greg Lewis in man coverage, plus rookie FS Pat Watkins is having a nice season, which allows Dallas to drop Roy Williams into the box to cause trouble in the run and blitz. If Westbrook is limited, the pressue is on McNabb to find room, make plays with his feet, and look underneath for LJ Smith. If Stallworth and Westbrook are out, it will be a long day.
Final Score: Dallas 31, Philadelphia 13
