All of those things you listed except the last one applies to 99% of teams which lose a football game! Nice insight. Just admit you were horribly wrong and be done with it.

bah, what a spineless no show :p

Lets see...

I have 16 credits, one of which is a senior design project for the FAA. I work 32 hours a week at one job, and 10 hours a week at another. I'm an officer in an active fraternity. I'm the president of the volleyball team, which happened to be hosting a tournament yesterday that didn't get out until 9pm. Oh, and I actually have a social life. I apologize if I can't always be at ATOT's beck and call, if you'd checked my profile, my last login to the site was early yeseterday afternoon.

Now, to the game.

Dallas played like sh!t. Flozell Adams, supposedly the leader of the offensive line, was terrible. McBriar dropped a punt. Bledsoe made some TERRIBLE throws, some because of pressure, others because...well I don't know.

However, there is one player I blame for this loss - rookie FS Pat Watkins. He was directly accountable for the Baskett TD, the Brown TD, and the Smith catch to the 1 that let up a TD. That's 21 points on #25's shoulders. Like I said in my preview, he'd played uncharacteristly well for a rookie so far...well, he showed his greenness yesterday.

However, I can still take some positives from this game. Julius Jones still looked great, and assuming Bell doesn't have a great night against Baltimore tonight, will be leading the NFL in rushing yards/game, while sharing time, and playing 3 of his 4 games against good defenses. DeMarcus Ware is a beast. T.O., while being called a "non factor" by the sportswriters, was wide open down the field quite a few times, and Bledsoe either didn't look at him cuz he has a love affair with Glenn , or horribly underthrew him. The defense contained the run fairly well.

All in all, that was a poorly executed, sloppy game by Dallas, on the road in a hostile atmosphere. A loss is a loss, a bad game is a bad game, but I can at least take solace in that with all those negatives, Dallas was STILL one QB/TE miscommunication on the 5 away from overtime.

I am still confident that Dallas will win the division, and that they will beat the Eagles when they play on Christmas.

While it was not his best game, I certainly am not one to be calling for Tony Romo. That's just foolishness at this point.

As for my pregame analysis and how it was "wrong on all costs"...well, thats just not a true statement. I was correct about rolling coverage towards Owens, Dawkins + a corner were on him almost every play. Witten DID have a pretty nice day, although it could have beenbetter. Jones did find a lot of running room. Newman and Henry held their own in coverage, it was Watkins that let up big catches. The pressure WAS on McNabb to deliver, and he did. Sure, the final score was a bit off, but anyone that watchde the whole game knows it was a lot closer than the final score would indicate, and when you've got 5 turnovers while only generating 2...hey, sh!t happens.

See you on Christmas, the Eagles are known for booing Santa Claus, I'd be praying he brings you a victory, cuz vengence will be sweet.

how about from now on you stop predicting football...its a waste of space on the AT servers.

You guys can say whatever you want, I don't care. Eagles fans are among the most thickheaded, uninformed in the league. I've been told that not only was the Eagles home loss to the giants a good game, it should be a considered a win, and that the Giants aren't a threat...whereas me accepting that Dallas fvcked up and lost, but did some good things and have a good shot at winning the next one at home, and I'm an idiot.

Let's see...you said:

you missed something critical: a BAD football team does all the above things and gets blown out. a GOOD football team does all the above and still has a chance to win.

Oh, and to whichever lesser being told me to stop predicting football - why would I do that? I can say two words and have an entire forum up in arms - its so easy & fun. You foolish lads play right into my hands, you're like silly putty. Like a Bledsoe pass to Lito Sheppard even!

What about the Patriots? They blow, and will only make the playoffs if because they have an easy schedule, where they will promptly be blown out by any of the playoff-worthy teams they will be facing.

Typical Dallas Fan (after a loss to the Eagles). I'm shocked he didn't pull out the "how many rings do the Eagles have" line...

The better team won. Period.

Yea, the Bengals sure took a crap in that game. How about the Broncos though? Great game there.

Snakesometrash - refer to my above post on predicting games

see, its so easy. I say one thing and then just refer you guys to the same things, over and over again, and you'll keep getting more and more upset. Can't you see how fun a game this is?

I'm around 60% considering the Pats won 3 of the last 5 super bowl's.

Deeko there is nothing you can say to save face. Your life as a football analyst was over before it started. GG Dallas.

Basically just choose the opposite of what Deeko predicts. We can all be rich men!

Actually I only got 2 games wrong in pick 'em this week.

Like I've said before - I'd like to see you guys grow a set and post detailed, league wide predictions in the preseason like I do every year. You'll always get some wrong, its how it goes. As for per-week...I give you guys this game, but I'll see you on Christmas and in January. Again, read the detailed description in the pregame analysis...most of it was accurate.

Its simple logic syringer. If you say something bad about someone's favorite team, they'll flip out about it, no matter how logical or true it may be. If say, for example, "The patriots don't have good WRs", PaulNEPats will come out of the woodwork to freak out that I'm a moron. Its true though - the Pats DON'T have good WRs.

Yes, Deeko, yes. I'm with you all the way on what I quoted from you above until we go back to the absolute fanboi assholism of your original NFC East prediction:
NFC East
1. Dallas Cowboys - straight nasty all around
2. New York Giants - Tiki has to wear down some time
3. Washington Redskins - Brunell needs a new hip
4. Philadelphia Eagles - hahahahahaha...hold on...hahahahahaha
No amount of back-tracking verbiage from you, mixed in with the occasional entirely weak ad gobal jab at all Eagles fans, can hide the fact that you crafted your prediction with all the care and elan and objectivity of a two year old jonesing for his talking TO toy.

And, until you directly and manfully address this -- "4. Philadelphia Eagles - hahahahahaha...hold on...hahahahahaha" -- no one on this entire forum will take you seriously on any football matter, and you will sadly deserve much but not all of the abuse you will continue to receive.

Simply put: Step up or shut up.

That will be the standings at the end of the season as well. I'm (was) a Cowboy fan, but I know when to wake up and come back to reality; Cowboys suck and will not go to the playoffs as long as Parcells is coach and Bledsoe behind center.
