Dallas AMD Tech Tour 2005 After-thoughts.

This guy on the first row got a phone call and was slowly walking out with the phone to his ear. He was an old round guy. The young guy on stage stopped his conversation with another guy on stage and said, "Is it for me?". Everyone busted out laughing.

Also, this guy asked one of the most reatrded questions ever and everyone starting laughing at him. Even the guys on stage started chuckling.

Just remember! A guy called the Opteron a OPTITRON. At an AMD Show! Laughter ensued.

It was okay, but I didn't win anything.

Other than that, ... Who all was there? I am 19, and I was wearing a brown truckers hat, a Maroon/Red/White striped dress shirt with sleeves rolled up, Grey Dickies shorts, and Rainbow sandals. did anyone see me?!

Actually, I am a very clothes conscious person. It matches wonderfully. My hat, belt, and sandals are all brown. The grey shorts compliment the colors in the shirt. The shirt isn't a dress shirt really, it's Munsingwear Penguin brand, made for dressing down.

Umm, he was wondering if current programs would run on a 64-bit CPU.

I kind of wanted to go to the Houston one, but I don't think I really want to drive that far (not to mention it's probably too late to register anyways )

I considered going to the Dallas show, but at $2 a gallon for gas (or higher), it wasn't worth the 2 hour drive down there. Add to that the fact that they were scheduling it to end after 9pm, my drive back home would've put me walking in the door close to midnight, with work the next day. No thanks! :brokenheart:
