A surprising move. It was just a guess but I thought he was going to go with RCR. Hendrick Racing has been very dominate this season. Adding Junior will only help strengthen their program.

That means somebody at Hendrick is getting cut but they all have contracts at least through next year. I'll wait till the real announcement tomorrow. Jr is the most over rated driver in Nascar but he does bring in some cash.

I think Gordon owns 50% of his car or something like that. I heard that's away they could get around the team size problem.

Wonder what this means for Casey Mears? He has been running much better as of late. I would much rather see Kyle Busch go than Casey.

Exaclty; he's been riding on his father's legacy and he is nowhere near as dominant a driver as his father was. However the "Red Army" helps to generate tons of cash, and i guess from a business standpoint it would be good to have him on board.

Well with Hendrick equipment even I could win a few races so it will be in improvement for Jr too.

LOL; you definitely have a point. I wonder how Jr. fans are gonna react to having Gordon and Johnson as teammates.

I think it would be very unfair for them to let Casey go. It's only his first year with Hendrick and he's got a win this early in the season. Kyle should go. Maybe race with his brother.

I'd really like to see Jr. come to Hendrick Motorsports. It will definitely be a great benefit to HMS. To have Johnson, Gordon and Jr. together on one team will be great.

That's awesome, I'm glad to see Jr and Gordon being teammates now. Just for the sole fact that Jr. fans absolutey HATE Gordon, and this should be an interesting twist to the sport.

As a Jeff/Jimmie fan I would rather that Jr. drives somewhere else.

No freaking way!!!! I'm so torn. I just don't think I will be able to bring myself to root for Junior anymore. I can't stand the Hendrick organization that much!

Ah well, good luck Jr. NOT

Muahaha, I agree. Huge Gordon fan here. I've always liked Jr, but hated how his fans acted. If this pans out it would be absolutely the sweetest thing ever.

I remember Jr saying about drafting a couple years ago "Me and Jeff, we're buddies, but we're not drafting partners." <--Looks like that's about to change :D

Yup. We are only a few weeks removed from Earnhardt Sr/Jr fans throwing beer cans at Gordon's car during the winning spinout. :D

Yeah, I'd have much rather seen him back in #3.

Just heard a report that it's Busch getting the boot.

As for DEj going to Hendrick, it is pronably about the best race team out there now in shop/support, so depending on how his new crew is set up he could quickly go back to the winning side with their mechanical support.
