I've always thought that the DQ food is nasty. In & Out burgers are definitely tastier, and Wendy's is slightly better than DQ, but DQ is better than most others I guess (but still pretty bad - for instance, Jack in the Box serves the worst fast food burgers in the world).
What?

😕

Jack in the Box has some of the best fast food burgers.

Name a better burger than the Double Bacon Ciabatta burger.

I've never eaten at a Jack in the Box. That e. coli problem came out before I lived in a place that had them and I haven't had much interest in perusing that sort of thing.
lol, that was like what, 15 years ago? haha.

They didn't have them where I lived when that happened either, and while I do still remember it, it was just an accident. It could have happened to any fast food chain. I'm sure they're instructed to make SURE the burgers are done now, haha.

In N Out's Double Double

Five Guy's Bacon Cheeseburger

Burger King BK Stacker or double whopper

Wendy's 1/2 lb doubt with cheese and Bacon

Carl's Jr Western Bacon Cheeseburger

The Ciabatta wins if even only for the bun. The sauce on it is absolutely delicious. I would put it against any burger. Ciabatta's rolls OWN.

I did DQ for dinner tonight, this is the first time in 10 years that i live near a DQ. Had the classic bacon cheeseburger or whatever its called. sure beat Jack in the Box. DQ chocolate malts bring back good childhood memories.

I was never impressed by the quality of meat at Jack In the Box while every one that i've listed uses fairly good quality sirloin, andI know most of the ones above are pretty fresh and don't ever freeze their meats.

DQ and A&W have the best fast food burgers IMO.

I'm a slave to the DQ commercials though. When one comes on tv I have to get up, get in the car, and go get a sundae or banana split.

Don't have In N Out or Five Guys around here, but the Ciabatta burger is better than any BK, Wendys or Carl's Jr. burger.

As QueBert says, just the bun alone.. When you throw in the sauce, the fresh whole leaf lettuce and the overall size of the burger, there is no comparison.

I always order mine with extra sauce.. Mmmmmm....

I used to like Carl's Jr.'s Western Bacon, but there is no comparison. It's good for what it is, but really.. it's a typical slapped together fast food burger. Obviously it is going to depend on the Jack in the Box local to you, but the few I've been to in the Portland area were always fresh and well made.

The fare at DQs varies from region to region. Most of the ones in TX have a full menu of burgers, chicken strips, beef strips and so forth besides the shakes, sundaes, etc. They are very tasty.

I got a burger from the local DQ a few weeks back & I was impressed. Much better than I thought it would be.

I used to always get their chicken strip basket there.... good shit, and that texas toast that it comes with, fuck yea!

Two guys traveling through Texas stopped in Mexia at Dairy Queen for lunch.

One guy said they name of the city was mex'-ee-uh, while the other said the name of the city was muh-hay'-uh.

So they asked the DQ girl to pronounce where they were, and she said:

"Daaaaaeeeereee Kawaaaeeeen"

I'll stick to Subway and eat healthier

depends on what you get, but not everything at Subway is that much healthier.

We all know that a foot long sandwich loaded with cheese, mayo, olive oil, meatballs and whatever else they are throwing on these days followed by a bag of deep fried potato chips, a chocolate chip cookie and a 24 oz Coke (refillable!) is completely healthy!

RIIIIIGGGHHHHT.

I dont know anyone who orders or eats all that in a trip to subway. Maybe they get a 6 inch meal deal which comes with chips or they get a footlong.. but not a footlong with all that other crap you listed.

When I go there, I get the blackforest ham, all veggies except cukes and the hot peppers, and some oil/vinegar. Finish it with a coke zero or water. Much much better than a burger/fry combo from dq.

Yeah that works great if you dont mind eating a sandwich that tastes like grass. Once you add in the mayo, mustard, oils, and anything else that makes it taste good enough to eat. You are nearing Cheeseburger like calories.

Mustard really doesn't have many calories, but other than that you are right. However, I am lucky as I don't really like mayo, cheese or oil on my subs.

DQ has amazing Chicken Strips, and they give you toast + delicious white gravy to dip them in. They are some of the best Strips I've had.

Dammit! Now I'm hungry for DQ chicken strips. Guess I know where I'm going for lunch. 🙁

Publix subs > Anything from SubWay.

TOTALLY! I so miss Publix for more than the sandwiches. There's nothing like Publix up here in Northern Illinois. We have Jewel Osco (same as Albertson's), Dominicks (a yuppy version of "Safeway". They have sandwiches, but they suck. Damn workers can't even remember to take the stickers off the tomatoes before they slice them.) and Piggly Wiggly (about the same as a Winn-Dixie.)

My wife was the teacher for one of the four kids that died. 🙁 That was sad.

Subway, like any restaurant, can be healthy or bad.

That being said, a foot long turkey and ham sub on wheat with american cheese, light mayo, tons of lettuce and tomato, green peppers, and jalapenos is just fricking great and only 760 calories for a giant sandwich.

So does northern Illinois just try to be weird and different or did that happen all by accident?

I usually get a foot long with all the fixin's, deep fried taters, and a 24 oz Coke. I don't do a cookie because they hurt my teeth, but if they didn't then I would probably get a cookie as well.

In and out double double was the best burger from a fast food place that I've had. Carl's Jr's Guacamole burger and Chili burgers are tied for second. Jack in the Box has always left a nasty taste in my mouth and I refuse to eat that crap.

I've never had DQ burgers, but I love their hot dogs!

Dairy Queen has the best double cheeseburgers... Mmmmm...

Their meet patties actually look, taste and smell like beef and aren't cooked so long they resemble hockey pucks. 🙂

IF you can find a DQ with a Brazier (now called "Grill n' Chill. Grr..) Many DQ's are ice cream only. 🙁

I do like the Brazier burgers.

This is true. There's a non-Brazier DQ near me, and as far as food goes, they only serve chicken strips and french fries.

I like Brazier hamburgers as well.
