I love that meal deal. I usually get the fish with a slice of cheese and skip the sundae, so my local store always gives me a coupon for a free sundae at a later date. They have a nice atmosphere at my local store - TV above the fireplace along with a couch and easy chairs in front of the fireplace.

It may depend on the DQ location, but a couple of hours ago I had the fish meal and other $5 combinations were available at my local store. Today my local store started excavation in front of the store for a patio that would be on both sides of the main entrance. The owner showed me the blueprints - should be really nice when completed.

i dont have dq in nyc but all the ones I been to in NJ are nice... i wish i had dq in nyc..

All the dq's in my area just microwaved the burgers.... Must be why they are all gone now.

I like the DQ's around here, one of them does pretty good and cheap breakfast. None of them have fish though.

In Kansas, this deal has been going on for months. You can get a 3 piece chicken tender and fry, hot dog and fry, bacon cheeseburger and fry, crispy or grilled chicken salad (I get this one), and soft drink. Oh, and a sundae as well..

This has been going on for over a year in MN. I believe there are several options for the meal. If memory serves me correctly. The options are cheeseburger, 3 chicken strips, fish sandwich or hotdog. I had it one day. For 5 bucks it is a great deal if you want to leave completely full.

No microwaved stuff here, everything is made as you order, so as hot and fresh as can be expected. (Hot Dogs are on some kind of rotating device to slow cook and keep them hot).
