The Daily Show's audience relies on the same people who claimed Bush was an idiot and mentally retarded. I watched TDS maybe a year or so after JS took over and stopped watching it because his jokes were, quite frankly, tasteless.

If they really go after an Obama administration the same way they went after the Bush administration, they will alienate their core viewership. If they don't, then the same audience will just find it unfunny.
