Colbert is awesome. I went to one of the tapings of the show about 3 months ago. It was excellent. Physicist Brian Greene was interviewed. That was the icing on the cake.

When you guys eat pancakes, do you cut then up into bits before putting syrup on them, or do you cut them as you eat, already splattered in syrup? I ask this because my brother and I went to IHOP the other day and he proceeded to cut his pancakes in to bite-sized bits before add syrup and consuming and he insisted that it wasn't weird and lots of people do it this way. I just don't find it as effective, especially considering that once the pancakes have been made slightly soggy by syrup you don't even need a knife to cut them, and the side of a fork works just fine.

Lots of butter & syrup, then cut each piece with my fork as needed. Your brother's system invloves all kinds of unnecessary arm work.

That's what she said....

Colbert could, and should, have you killed. He fears no man.

Except for Steve Jobs...because of the iPhone kill switch...

And bears.

Sure you said no man, but did you forget about ManBearPig?

If you are older than three or younger than eighty, there is no need to cut your food before you eat it. And how does he put butter on them, does he just dab a little on each bite-size hunk? Weird.

Waffles and are so much easier to cut once drenched in syrup (and butter). Plus if you drench then cut, it gives them an extra few seconds to soak it in before they reach your mouth. The cut-then-dip method just doesn't get enough goodness.

I won't discuss pancakes as they aren't delicious.

daily show is still funny

however the colbert report has always sucked

Complete opposite here: Stewart is too smarmy and the jokes just aren't that funny. Colbert, on the other hand, is one of the best satire characters of our time. He's not quite up there with Borat, but he's up there every night with great material.

It's only funny to dumb people who can't think and are with the "Bush is bad/stupid" sheep crowd.

I don't even know if it's that. It's amusing if you like being a tool and taking a guy, trying to get cheap laughs, seriously as a real media commentator of any caliber.
