Like there's any doubt? Homer will go down in history as one of the top 5 sitcom characters ever.

Least favorite? Of the ones listed, Snowball. Santa's Little Helper has at least figured in a few storylines, but Snowball (Snowball II actually, Snowball I is dead) never does much.

Homer because he's stupid
 
anyone who votes for patty/selma/snowball/santa's little helper is nuts.

I don't have a real favorite, but Homer definatly stands out. The interactions of different characters is better than any individual character, ie: Krusty talking to his accountant or something.
