I was watching yesterday's briefing again and I was reminded of one thing that I had forgotten due to my amazement of the stupidity of the comments by the president and it was this:

When Bill Bryan finishes his talk, Trump gets up and says the following, almost like a child who has like, the most awesome, the bestest, the most brilliant thought, and he has to say it before anyone else gets a chance to:

"So I asked Bill a question that probably some of you are thinking of, if you’re totally into that world, which I find to be very interesting....

All I could think was, NO, NO YOU FUCKING MORON. Nobody else in that room was thinking that question. I'm sure everyone, fucking everyone had enough intelligence to think that a description of what kills a virus on a surface OUTSIDE the human body had any correlation to what happens inside the human body.

NO. NO ONE HERE is stupid enough to even ask what would happen if we put disinfectants into the body or pumped large amount of UV into a living human.
 
Is it just me or is he simultaneously claiming that testing will be fixed, won't be done/helped by the feds unless its really needed, will be helped by the feds, and is already so fixed already that the country can reopen?
 
This claim that states will open up rapidly but safely are simply not possible. They are complete opposites. Rushing to open up is not safe. How does this dolt not understand this basic concept?

The usual deal. Seeking credit if it works and to avoid blame if it doesn't (and many people die). He has yet to comprehend that he owns this lock, stock, and barrel in the eyes of the public despite every poll screaming it at him.

LOL he flat out said no he doesn't take responsibility for the reports of more people ingesting disinfectants after his comments.

It must be fun to be a cult leader. You can say anything while the Faithful remain in thrall trying to figure out what can be gleaned from your deeper knowledge. If Trump starts speaking in tongues they'll know for sure he's been touched by the Lord.
 
No one asked if he was embarrassed for asking such idiotic questions last week or what a noble prize is and which reporter one one. 😕
 
I didn’t watch. The media shouldn’t cover. If people need a dose of BS Fox News is always available. It no longer matters what Trump says. It definitely no longer matters what Mike Pence says. It no longer matters what his doctors say. It no longer matters what members of his task force say. They all have spun every which way possible so.... what does it even matter? Any of it ??? You can’t run a country on bad information. You can’t build a house with rotten wood.

One reporter did ask him if he felt responsible for the increase in the phone calls to the poison control line, and he said he takes no resonsibility for that.

TV in place of his rallies. As John Harwood said, "TV cameras are trump's oxygen"

They need to make these statistics into a "Joe Biden for President " campaign commercial
Show the citizens of this country what he is really using these briefing for. Tell it to the world.

Talked for 4.5 minutes, total, over the course of all these briefings, on condolences for the people that have died under his malfeasance.

I would have preferred they ask if he was embarrassed as he should be.
