So I have bought maybe 15 OEM hard drives from newegg and untill the last 2 every one of them has come with a jumper. No cables or anything just a jumper and a hard drive. Well the last 2 I have bought havnt come with jumpers and its been a pain finding that out.

Just got off the phone with them and I was told that a jumper was considered an accessory. 🙁 I dont even know where to go buy jumpers.

What's the savings difference between OEM and retail hard drives? And don't retail varieties carry significantly longer warranties?

Is there anybody on the planet that is remotely interested in computer hardware that doesen't have jumpers falling out of their ears?

I must have hundreds laying around. I could probably sweep the floor and find one.
