Anyone use this program? When my 80GB hard drive arrives I want to make isos of all my games and keep them on my hard drive. So with deamon tools i can just open anyone of the isos and the computer will think its the actual cd. Man that would be really great. Never have to put another cd in again.
 
yes you can do what you are asking. Another program that does the same type thing and has burning software is Alcohol 120%. It isn't free but I like it a little better than Daemon tools.
 
Okay cool. I have a 40GB IBM Deckstar and I'm getting a 80GB Maxtor 8mb cache. Would it be any faster to run the isos with deamon tools off the 80gb (8mb cache) hard drive then on the 40giger. I'm thinking I could just use the 40GB drive to hold all my game isos.

Can't Daemon tools emulate safedisc 2 so that you dont need a crack!? I thought it could, although i have never personally tried it.
 
I've been using it for a while now too...it's such a time-saver...as soon as I dl a movie/album/game, I can virtually mount it and have it going immediately. I was amazed the first time my friend showed it to me. That must've been years ago...it was when SC was relatively new and hot. 🙂
 
its good. but can only do up to 4 drives. so your going to have to change the mounts around all the time if u want it for all your games 🙂

That doesn't always work... sometimes you want to update or patch the game, and with a no cd crack, you can't do that usually.
 
yeah thats why i want to get alcohol 120% working, but theprotection emulation is not working for me. it still asks me for the cd. why!?

Safedisc 2 is a joke. Yes Daemon Tools can emulate safedisc games.
