Daemon tools replacement

Ok, I am having problems installing Daemon tools, so is there any other app out there that can do the job but with a small foot print?
 
thank you and it is a very small app. (microsoft), but I want an application with support for more formats, and Alcohol it isn't just the virtal drive software. I want to replace the Daemon Virtual drive and I use Nero to burn.
 
Alcohol comes in 2 flavors, 120% which is the burning/ripping with drive emulation software, and 52% which is the drive emulation software by itself. If I'm not mistaken, Alcohol licensed its drive emulation code from Daemon Tools...
 
So, if I have problems installing Daemon tools then Alcohol shouldn't be different, so any other suggestion?
 
I'd try to pin point what is causing your problems and see if you can fix that instead of looking for an alternative. The only other alternative is Alcohol 120% that is worth mentioning.
 
Well, yes I omitted the problem but the reality is that it seemed to me easier to ask for another program than trying to solve the problem, but I can?t install Daemon because a problem with the SCSI and RAID controller, I don?t know why but the installation fail every time that I try to install, sorry for the omission.
 
My guess is you have ACPI disabled in the bios. If I'm right don't try enabling it unless you're prepared for a Windows reinstall.
 
Nero does not support MDS and others, I think that the ACPI may be disable, I had some problems with a sata disk and had to tinkering a little the BIOS, I will try, but I hate to reinstall Windows.
