I've been tempted too long to purchase a mobile barton, so I'm giving in! I'm going to buy a mobile 2600 and shoot for the stars.
Currently, I have an A7N8X-E mobo. However, I would like to not be restricted to 1.85v so I am going to replace it. What top of the line motherboard has the highest voltage limits? I am determined to get a massive overclock, and not settle for "just" (
) 2.6ghz. What would be the best choice?
Along with my CPU and motherboard, I will be replacing my RAM. I only use 512MB so I'm looking into 256MB matched pairs to run in dual-channel mode. I don't have a need for anything over PC3700, so I'd really just like to get RAM that will run low CAS timings and outperform competition between 400mhz and 433mhz.
Links to benchmarks, reasoning (debates
), and testimony would be awesome!
All help is GREATLY APPRECIATED!
