H.264 has done it, at a much better size then Huffyuv
H.264 isn't lossless AFAIK.

Your information source is WRONG.

I have the Philips DVD642 and here's my findings (so far) with Divx6:
- Files encoded to divx6, using the "Home Theatre" template (having the new .divx extension) plays 100% fine
- The special new menu/option enabled divx files still play 100% fine...But the player doesn't know how to handle the menuing so it goes directly into playing the movie

So, even though it can't read the new menuing/options of DivX6, it can play the files fine. :)

Edit: Detail update, I have the DVP642/37 with Firmware 1109
